Thailand Itinerary

DAY 01: DEPART BOSTON

DAY 02: IN TRANSIT  

DAY 03: ARRIVE BANGKOK 

Transfer to hotel. Day at leisure. Bangkok, the capital, is a metropolis that transitions gracefully between magnificent modern architecture and ancient temples, palaces, authentic canals, and busy markets. 

Accomadation: Farama Xclusive Sathorn Hotel (or similar)  

DAY 04  (B/D) Visit the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. Manohra Rice Barge Dinner Cruise Bangkok by night on a restored wooden rice barge. 

DAY 05  (B) The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market dating back to 1866, is the place to witness the traditional life on the waterways. Afternoon at leisure. 

DAY 06  (B/L) Day tour to Ayutthaya, the ancient Siamese capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch on river cruise back to Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River. 

DAY 07 Fly to Phuket; Day at leisure

Overnight in Phuket at the Deevana Plaza Phuket Patong Beach (or similar) 

DAY 08  (B/L) Day tour to Phi Phi Island by private speedboat from the Royal Phuket Marina. View nature, swim, snorkel and enjoy the coves, beaches and coral reefs of Phi Phi and Bamboo Islands. Return to hotel, evening at leisure. 

DAY 09  

Phuket Day at Leisure

OPTIONAL TOUR:  PHUKET ELEPHANT SANCTUARY $175 PER PERSON TAKE A HALF DAY TO MEET THE ELEPHANTS. FEED AND WALK WITH THEM AND WATCH THEM PLAY AND BATHE. A MOVING EXPERIENCE. THAI VEGETARIAN LUNCH INCLUDED.

DAY 10  DEPART PHUKET

DAY 10 ARRIVE HONG KONG

Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon at leisure. 

Hong Kong by Night Tour  — Start with gorgeous views of Hong Kong Harbor from the Hong Kong Observation Desk – Sky 100. Explore the bazaars of Temple Street and enjoy a Bauhinia Harbor Cruise to watch the Symphony of Lights multimedia show on the water.

DAY 11 

Hong Kong Living Culture Experience tour — Find Hong Kong’s hidden gems with an experienced local guide. Take a Star Ferry ride to Hong Kong Island -National Geographic rates this crossing as one of 50 ‘places of a lifetime’ to see. View Victoria Harbor from the 60m-high Hong Kong Observation Wheel. Ride the Rickshaw Open Top bus through the Heritage Route and so much more. Finish at the traditional 1938 Kee Wah Bakery. Taste famous egg tarts, pineapple buns, and Hong Kong Style silk milk tea. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 12 

Day at leisure to explore or take an optional tour. (must be pre-booked). 

OPTIONAL: FULL DAY LANTAU ISLAND TOUR W VEGETARIAN LUNCH $400 PER PERSON (MINIMUM 4 PERSONS REQUIRED)

TAKE A COACH TRANSFER TO TUNG CHUNG FOR A STUNNING CABLE CAR RIDE UP TO NGONG PING PLATEAU WHERE THE GIANT BUDDHA SITS MAJESTICALLY CLOSE TO THE PO LIN MONASTERY. AFTER TOURING THE GIANT BUDDHA EXHIBITION HALL AND THE PO LIN MONASTERY, A VEGETARIAN MEAL IS SERVED. TAKE A BOAT TO THE HISTORICAL FISHING VILLAGE AT TAI O WHERE TANKA BOAT PEOPLE STILL LIVE IN STILT HOUSES.
